I have recently encountered some unexpected performance issues on my server after a system update; and I am hoping to get some insights or advice from others who might have faced similar challenges.
I am running a Linux based server; and after applying the latest system update, I noticed a significant decrease in performance. Specifically; tasks that previously ran smoothly are now much slower; and I have also experienced occasional lag when accessing the server remotely.
I have checked the CPU and memory usage; and while they are not maxed out; they do seem higher than usual; especially when I run certain processes. I also noticed a few errors in the server logs; but I am not sure if they are related to the update.

Checking for any active background processes that might be consuming excessive resources.
Reverting some of the settings from the update that might have affected performance.
