We connected our blog to auto-publish our articles to our Discourse community. This allowed us to trash that privacy invading service called Disqus.
Only admins are allowed to create topics, but you can comment on any topic in the #latest-posts-comments category.
How this category works:
- When we publish a post on our blog, it automatically creates a topic on our Discourse community
- When you comment on that topic, those comments appear on our blog
This works great because you don’t get your privacy invaded on and we can have much better conversations through Discourse over Disqus.
